The Unveiling of the Church
In this season, it’s important that we’re patient. God wants to fulfill His purpose through us. He is showing us what we need to do now in order to prepare us for what to do next. Many prophetic voices are saying that the final harvest is going to start at the beginning of next year. Every second we have should be used as an opportunity to get ourselves ready. We need to stay focused now more than ever.
Many people in the church are veiled as far as the way they see Jesus. At the end of the age, Jesus is going to reveal Himself in a way that no other generation has seen before. If you believe that Jesus did it all at the cross you’ll never reach all that God has for you - you have a huge part to play in this! But if Jesus did it all at the cross then why did Paul say that he picked up his cross every day? Also, in Colossians 1:24, Paul wrote, “I fill up in my flesh what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ?” Paul also said that if we suffer with Him, we will be glorified with Him (Rom. 8:17).
The church has been deceived by false teachers who have created a theology that has birthed laziness in the church. They teach that you cannot lose your salvation, which is a once saved always saved theology. It has produced lazy believers that do not take their relationship with God seriously. Scripture says that we are to work out our salvation with fear and trembling (Phil. 2:12). If you believe that you cannot lose your salvation you wouldn’t need to work out your salvation with fear and trembling. Scripture is clear that salvation is a process and not a one time event.
God is raising up apostolic and prophetic deliverers in this next generation that are going to be used to set people free. This is a generation of fighters who will fight against the kingdom of darkness - they will not be afraid of the Antichrist system. Don’t you know that the Lord wants you to crush Satan under your feet (Rom. 16:20)? The remnant will be an army in the spirit, small and powerful like Gideon’s army, but those who don’t want to fight will be sent away.
God uses his apostles and prophets as agents to reveal God’s plan and purpose on the Earth. The truth is revealed through these two offices; they reveal who the church is in Christ. The Word says that our lives are hidden in Christ (Col. 3:3). Also, Paul wrote in Ephesians 3 that the mystery of Christ was revealed to him to impart to the church. God does nothing in the earth without revealing His secrets to his servants the prophets, so the church cannot be prepared for the return of Christ unless the apostles and prophets understand the plan and purpose of how He will return. The church is not fully revealed until the end.
Revelation 10:7 said that the mystery of God will be finished as declared by His servants the prophets at the sound of the seventh trumpet. God told Isaiah to lift up his voice as a trumpet. God called Jeremiah His trumpet. The prophets are God’s trumpets. While many are waiting for a trumpet to sound in outer space, the reality is that God’s prophets are already sounding the trumpets. These men and women are the trumpet blast that God will use at the end of the age to warn and wake others up before it’s too late.
There are two moves happening at the same time. Abaddon, the fallen angel, is being used to prevent those in the church from going through the veil to have a revelation of who God is. He deceives through false teachers. The locusts that come out of the bottomless pit are the false teachers coming to sting those with their venomous false teachings. At the same time God is preparing His remnant through the apostles and prophets.
Every move of God starts with revelation. God wants to take us to another dimension. Heaven is not part of this dimension; it’s outside of this realm of time, in a place of eternity. We are in a very serious time and a 45 minute sermon on a Sunday is just not enough. We need to press into God’s presence every day. The Lord wants us to be a sweet smelling aroma (2 Cor. 2:15). His anointed Word is the fragrance He wants us to carry. Amen.
Sincerely,
Apostle Michael Petro
