The Washing of the Soul

Scripture tells us that the Lord does nothing in the Earth unless He first reveals it to the prophets (Amos 3:7). The prophets are speaking and it’s time to listen closely to what the Lord is saying now.

In order to step into what the Lord wants, our soulish nature has to die. Just like Jesus, we were put in this body to overcome it. Scripture tells us that Jesus grew in wisdom (Luke 2:52) and that he was tempted in every way we are (Heb. 4:15). This means that Jesus faced the same choices we face but He chose holiness and righteousness. He was born through Mary to show that sin can be overcome while in this body. When Jesus walked the Earth, most people only saw the fleshly Jesus, while the few could see that the flesh was just a veil concealing the power of God within.

If you look at the temple, our soul dwells in the Holy Place. Proverbs 20:27 says that “The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord..” - this means that our spirit man is the menorah which we know is in the Holy Place. But when we refuse to change, we’re in a dangerous position where the spirit man is at battle with the carnal nature. The Holy Place is the outer man (outer court) while the Holy of Holies is the inner man (inner court). The outer court is where we transition from our desires to God’s desires. The veil that separates the two courts represents a fleshly understanding and walk; this is what separates us from the supernatural realm in the Holy of Holies.

It’s important to understand that we’re meant to rejoice in all things because it is all for our purification, but if we refuse to learn, our light will be put out (Prov. 13:9). Both wisdom and salvation are linked to the lamp, which is us (Isa 62:1). We have to be willing to take on the kings in our lives, like unforgiveness, and dethrone them. But in order to do that we have to continue to press into wisdom and continue to tear through the veil.

One of the biggest lies of religion is that God loves everyone. Rev. 18:4 says, “Come out of her my people lest you share in her sins.” The Lord is telling his remnant to come out of the church, to come out actually means to divorce. The Lord is about to divorce the religious system and He wants his church to do the same. He even tells the apostles and prophets to rejoice at the removal and destruction of the church (Rev. 18: 17-20). He is not going to continue to allow the church to be ruled by those with a false understanding of His word. To Him, they are wicked.

The remnant will walk in the seven Spirits of God: "The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD, and He will delight in the fear of the Lord” (Isa. 11:2-3). Not one of these seven Spirits of God has to do with signs, wonders or feelings but every one of them has to do with knowledge and character. The church at the end of the age thinks it’s alive, but because it’s not walking in the seven spirits of God, it is dead (Rev. 3:1). On the other hand, the remnant is represented by the menorah, with each one of the seven golden lampstands being one of the seven Spirits of God. Revelation 5:6 says that “the seven eyes are the seven Spirits of God.” We know that 7 x 7 = 49. This is jubilee! The remnant will see freedom and transformation as they go through the veil. Zech. 3:9 speaks of a stone with seven eyes. Jesus told Peter that he would build His church on the Petros or the rock of revelation. If we’re allowing the Lord to inscribe on us that we’re those stones too!

When Scripture speaks of the circumcision of the heart it really is speaking about the circumcision of the soul through the process of revelation. Genesis 17:14 tells us that those who are not circumcised will be cut off. Paul teaches that we are born again when we receive a circumcision of the heart (Rom. 4). When our souls are circumcised the Lord starts to seal us. But those who are not circumcised are living in sin, and according to Scripture they will be cut off. Those whose hearts are veiled to the Word are under a curse (Lam. 3:64-66), but those under the covenant of Abraham will receive the blessing. Their souls have been circumcised and they’re ready to step through the veil. The Lord is waking up a remnant now to kill the beastly carnal nature to have their souls circumcised so they can step into the supernatural. Ecclesiastes 3:18 says, “Oh that my people would know that they are the beast.” We can claim to be Christians but still be carnal. The Lord is bypassing the church and restoring his kingdom through the remnant because they’ll be the only ones ready to step into the supernatural.

It’s time to continue to consecrate our souls through the teaching which is represented by the golden oil of the menorah. Wisdom is a person, a living being (Prov. 1:20-24). She is walking with us to reveal the plans for the end of the Church Age so we can step into the Kingdom Age. The two witnesses are the talk and the walk and it is time that we have both in their fullness.

Sincerely,
Apostle Michael Petro
