The Soul and the Seven Spirits

I'm going to show you today how the apostles and prophets are the ones who govern the church and if we’re not under that kind of authority then we’re really not part of the church. This pattern was set in the beginning, and it hasn’t changed. But it’s clear to see that the church has changed from this apostolic order. The apostles and prophets are the only ones able to prepare the souls of those in the church to present them to Go as perfect.

This is the whole issue of what we see in Malachi. The Lord is calling His priests messengers. In the Hebrew it is the word “malach” and it is the same word for  angel. An angel is not a winged creature, it is a person who has heard the message, walked it out, and has become that message. The high priest was considered angelic. They would come to remind the people of the law of Moses. People say that there is no way we can walk it out but how do you reconcile Zachariah and Elizabeth being blameless in the commandments of God?

That is the lie that we’ve been told that no one can walk out His commandments because it is impossible. Most of the church has thrown them out and that is exactly why God has to send His messenger, the spirit of Elijah, to bring truth back to the church. This is what happened in John the Baptist’s time - he was sent to turn many of the children of Israel back to God. To turn means to repent. They were being led astray from the truth and needed to turn back to that truth.

We’re taught in the church today that all we have to do is pray this prayer and we are set to go. That was never the case in the Early Church. Clement of Alexandria wrote about how salvation comes by having the hidden mysteries revealed to you. Jesus Himself said “You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me” (John 5:39). When you start to learn the mysteries it has the ability to wash your soul. In the book of Malachi, it’s clear to see that God is not pleased with the priests at the end of the age because they’re not cleaning up the church with revelation.

Ignatius, who was a disciple of the Apostle John, wrote that those who have departed from the apostolic church and aren’t under the authority of the Bishops, presbyters and deacons are not part of a church. Those three positions are apostolic and prophetic. How many churches do you know today that are following this order? This is the order that was set in the Early Church and we have to go back to it to even be considered part of the church.

The church cannot be prepared unless they believe in the apostles and prophets that are being sent to them. The bottom line is that Elijah is going to seal the remnant church with the Word that will prepare them and discipline them for the coming glory. The glory is coming through His people that have been prepared - we’re not going to fly away. Why would we need to worry about being chased down by the Antichrist if we’re covered in the glory? No one will be able to touch those who step into the glory of God.

Jesus is not looking for everyone. At one point, He had five thousand followers, and another time He had three thousand, and they pretty much all left. Jesus had two mega churches that left him. Jesus was a horrible evangelist by today’s standards, but again, he’s not looking for everyone. So why do we keep hearing that everyone is going to make it?

The true church is represented by the Menorah. The dragon with seven heads in the book of Revelation is the false church. The Menorah also represents the seven spirits of God, which means that the church is meant to carry the seven spirits of God. Every one of the seven spirits has to do with wisdom and knowledge, not signs and wonders. To be anointed with the seven spirits of God means you were anointed with wisdom and with high priestly knowledge.

Ignatius said that the high priests are the ones who have been entrusted with the secrets of God. If you have the seven spirits of God, you are equipped to understand the mysteries of God. The dead churches don’t have the seven spirits of God. The fear of the Lord is one of the seven spirits and yet you don’t really see that in the church. Instead, you hear that it is all about unconditional love and a non-offensive gospel.

The fear of the Lord is one of the attributes of Elijah at the end of the age. The way he will preach and operate will be through the fear of the Lord so that people will repent and get ready. The Bible says we are supposed to walk out our salvation with fear and trembling.

The time is already here. You need to ask yourselves, “Am I hearing the preaching of Elijah?” When the glory comes, Jesus is going to walk through them. Right now, I'm inviting you to the final move of God, the wedding feast. Those invited, which was the church, didn’t come because of the cares of the world.  After that the Lord raised up an army to destroy those who refused to come. It’s time to enter in now, Saints. Amen.

Sincerely, Apostle Michael Petro

  1. There are many Christians who cannot find a church that is under the supervision of a true apostle, therefore, many believers have to study the teachings of the original apostles, of the apostolic Church Fathers, and of the Ante-Nicene fathers, by themselves or in very small groups. It is a form of being under true apostles.

Many Christians who have left "a church" have not fallen away or lapsed from the Faith. They have just had to walk away from places where the Word of God is not respected, is no longer the standard, places where entertainment is more important than the kingdom of heaven.

Right now, in many countries, Christians have to hide and study the Bible in secret.

It is a real battle for many sheep.
