As the Lord revealed this week’s word to me, it became clear how the last few weeks of messages are very much intertwined. God is showing us so much right now as a preparation for His glory. This week’s word wasn’t complete until 4 am this morning when the Lord woke me up to put it all together.

We need to understand that we are supposed to operate as a spiritual tabernacle. The tabernacle shows us how to cross over into the next dimension. You can either be part of that crossing over or you can watch it. Paul said that the tabernacle and the sacrifices were all a shadow built by the hands of man, but the true tabernacle is built by God (Hebrews 8). The shadow is limited in that it only shows the outline, not the detail. We can only see the detailed features of that image when it becomes illuminated (through revelation). The shadow is not a bad place to start as it is a place of learning. But when we get the veils off, we get that imprint of light and the image of God being stamped into our soul.

Moses was shown the pattern. The meaning of “pattern” is a stamp or resemblance that comes by pummeling, or repeated blows. That temple is going to reproduce the same image of God in us and when that imprint comes, it comes by pressure, affliction and tribulation. When Adam fell, he fell from the image of God, and he became like a beast. Jesus came to teach us to overcome the flesh, killing that beastly nature. The whole point of the physical sacrifices is that they’re a shadow of beastly mindsets that separate us from God.

Jesus came to preach repentance to those who were darkened in their understanding because they could only see the letter and He wanted them to understand the mysteries of the kingdom. Many Christians think that the law is done away with but Paul said the law is a shadow of good things to come (Hebrews 10:1). He was saying that the law has not been fulfilled because there are still things that must come to pass. The blood of sheep and goats could never cleanse the conscience; those sacrifices were only the shadow of a spiritual sacrifice within us, but through that shadow the Lord is trying to teach us a greater meaning than just the literal events of the Old Testament.

In Genesis there is a hidden word that is a mystery to the Jews. In the Hebrew it says, “In the Beginning was the Aleph Tav.” In the book of Revelation, Jesus said that He is the Alpha and the Omega. Alpha and Omega are the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet but we don’t see the true meaning without exploring it in the Hebrew. In the Hebrew Aleph Bet the first and last letters are Aleph Tav. The Aleph Tav in our English Bibles is in darkness - it’s a mystery. The Aleph Tav is Jesus. He was there in Genesis 1 in the beginning. John the apostle saw the light of that revelation because in John 1 he said, “In the beginning was the Word.” Jesus was not born in our time; He was born in the beginning.

Those who are in darkness cannot perceive the light or revelation of Jesus. The darkness is what hinders the knowledge of God from coming forth. That’s the limitation of religion. When something is hidden from us we are in darkness. The Hebrew word for revelation is “chazon” and it speaks of seeing beyond what is seen in the physical, and well as a presence of light piercing through the darkness.

The apostle Paul’s hope was that our eyes may be enlightened with understanding so that we can know what the riches of the glory of His inheritance are (Eph. 1:18). The church cannot understand its inheritance until it goes through the veil. This is the final move. God is raising up apostolic fathers to birth the high priesthood into the Earth. The high priests are the ones who go beyond the veil. On the other side of that veil is our inheritance and we can only understand it by being illuminated by wisdom and revelation. Amen.

Sincerely,

Apostle Michael Petro
