Perdition in the Church
During the last month and a half I have been preaching about the end times, the son of perdition, the wrath that will be poured out on the false church and the glory that will be revealed through the remnant. I have made it a point to drive this home so that everyone is prepared and not caught off guard. We need to understand how the church is going to be judged (1 Peter 4:17). We need to know so we can be that sounding trumpet to warn others: our loved ones, friends, neighbors, and those who we know are a part of the religious system...those whom the Word warns will receive the wrath of God if they don’t repent.
Paul prophesied that in the last days people will depart from the faith to follow deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons (1 Timothy 4:1). We see that today in the church more than ever. People don’t want to hear the truth; they just want their ears tickled. It’s dangerous to receive a different doctrine because if you do, you’re actually receiving a different spirit that isn’t the spirit of God. All false teachings are demonic and are imparting demons into those who receive them. You can tell a person has opened the door to a false doctrine because very quickly you’ll see their attitude start to get worse. Paul says their conscience becomes seared, meaning they’re not willing to change - they don’t want to pick up their cross. They no longer want to die to themselves and let the Lord have His way.
Three years ago the Lord told me that He was going to start exposing things in the church system. He showed me that churches were going to be shut down. At the time I didn’t know how it would happen, but Saints, it’s here now...So many churches have shut down because of “Covid” and most will never reopen their doors. We have also seen many well-known Christian denominational leaders submit to the Pope including but not limited to Lou Engle, Todd White, Kris Vallotton, Heidi Baker, and Kenneth Copeland. They have all met with the Pope and said what a sweet and anointed man he is. Why would Lou Engle kiss the feet of a Catholic priest and come into covenant with him? What does light have in common with darkness? It shows that many “Christians” have opened themselves up to a different doctrine. Monk Malachy prophesied this in 1139 - the Lord showed him that the current Pope (the 112th Pope) would be the last one and that he would lead the church into perdition. Saints, it is here.
While all this deception is going on, the Lord is raising up His remnant. The Early Church taught that the remnant would be taught and raised up by Elijah at the end of the age to bring in the final harvest. The Word says that Elijah has to come back to restore all things - he is going to restore the truth. The Early Church taught that Elijah was going to prepare the remnant by his teachings, to be able to receive the glory of God and to be partakers of it. While many of us have been taught that no one can touch His glory, Scripture tells us that Moses was bathing in God’s glory and that it shone from his face (Exod. 34:29-30). Jesus prayed that we would be one with Him, just as He and the Father are one. So when we become one with the Father, we’ll be in His glory.
We’re at a crossroads right now. The things that are going on in the world are only a sign of where we’re at and what God is about to do. Every move of God happened during times of war and turmoil. Now more than ever we need to be in our Word, in prayer, in fasting. Immerse yourselves in His presence. We need to be ready for what’s coming. Amen.
Sincerely,
Apostle Michael Petro
